Please remove your booties and onesie: Jet Blue airline officials blamed a computer glitch on a decision by employees to pull an 18-month-old baby from a flight because they thought her name was on the U.S. no-fly list of known or suspected terrorists.

The employees later admitted they simply didn't want to do a pat-down search of the toddler's diaper.

Mystery solved: A Harvard graduate student and a team of researchers have descended on an Oregon lake to determine how grebes are able to walk on water. As part of its mating ritual the waterfowl tuck their wings behind their backs and then quickly propel themselves with their feet across the surface of the water.

Tragically, when the researchers asked the birds how it was done, the grebes stopped, shrugged their shoulders and sank like stones.
