    Jeffrey F. Duke of Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital conducts a canine wellness exam with Sarah Lang.

Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital plans it 2012 Health Fair and Pet Fest on Sunday, June 3. The event aims to promote awareness of wellness and preventive care for dogs, cats and horses. The event is from 1 to 4 p.m. at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital, 11308 92nd Street SE, Snohomish.

The event is free and animals, large and small, are welcome. Call 360-568-3113 if you have questions.

Selected activities and exhibits include:

• Animal health screenings
• Tours of stables, kennels, PVH's new Cat Care Center and treatment areas
• Petting zoo
• Medical demonstrations, including equine and small-animal dental, surgical, chiropractic and acupuncture procedures
• Pet treadmill demonstration
• Dog agility courses
• Information booths for animal welfare and other nonprofit agencies, canine police units, dog trainers and equine organizations
