Classic cars return to Everett for Cruzin' to Colby

EVERETT -- Take a spin back to the heydey of cruising Everett streets. The Seattle Rod-tiques club is hosting Cruzin' to Colby on Sunday and Monday.

A controlled cruise through downtown city streets is planned for 1 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the area around the intersection of Hewitt and Colby avenues.

The downtown car show, set for Monday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., features hot rods, classic cars, trucks and motorcycles.

Anyone may participate. Register Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 3105 Pine St.

Registration for the car show is planned for Monday at the corner of Hewitt and Colby avenues.

The Wright Bros. Band will play from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday followed by an Elvis impersonator. Door prizes, trophies, vendor booths and food are planned.
