Woman allegedly punched man, aimed for pacemaker
A man claims his pacemaker malfunctioned after he was hit in the chest

TULALIP -- The man said his attacker knew what she was doing.
He accused her of punching him in the chest hard enough to cause his pacemaker to malfunction.
The man, 56, told police the woman is a former kickboxer who knew how to punch -- hard.
An Everett woman, 46, was arrested for investigation of second-degree assault and was taken to the Snohomish County Jail. An Everett District Court judge on Tuesday set her bail at $10,000.
Tulalip police were called early Monday morning to investigate an argument in a parking lot in the 10200 block of 27th Ave. NE.
The woman described the man as a friend and told police he had punched her in the face, chased her around with a golf club and threatened her, according to court papers.
Police said they saw no visible marks on the woman.
The man told police the woman first punched him in the chest. He said he fell to the ground and stayed there for about 20 minutes.
He said the suspect "knew that he had a pacemaker and had deliberately targeted it with the punch," court papers said.
Police noticed the man's left arm was bleeding near the elbow.
The man told an officer that the woman struck him with a golf club after punching him.
Police found two golf clubs on the ground near the woman's car.
