Get ready, get set, to Get Movin'

Get ready to Get Movin': Get Movin' the free summer activity program for kids and their families, kicks off this year with free registration events from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Everett's Forest Park, Alderwood mall, Monroe High School and Allen Creek Elementary in Marysville.

Children who meet the weekly activity goal of being active for at least an hour five times a week can qualify for prizes such as free passes for swimming, using the climbing wall at REI, ice skating, and dance and gymnastic lessons.
