Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival: Explore the cultural and contemporary aspects of the Philippines through live performances, cultural displays, hands-on activities, foods, children's activities and a marketplace; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 9 and noon to 5 p.m. June 10 at the Armory/ Center House and Mural Amphitheatre at Seattle Center, 305 Harrison St., Seattle. "Hungry Planet: What the World Eats": The Burke will host this weekly event series designed to encourage discussion on how people incorporate food into their lives and cultures -- around the world and in our own backyard. Presented in partnership with PCC Natural Markets and other organizations; hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and until 8 p.m. on first Thursdays through June 10 at the Burke Museum, on the University of Washington campus, at the corner of NE 45th St. and 17th Ave. NE. Tutankhamun: The Golden King and The Great Pharaohs: The exhibition features more than 100 objects from King Tut's tomb and ancient sites representing some of the most important rulers throughout 2,000 years of ancient Egyptian history. Many of these objects have never toured in the United States before this exhibit. Come face-to-face with the largest image of King Tut ever unearthed -- a 10-foot statue of the pharaoh; to Jan. 6 at Pacific Science Center, 200 Second Ave. N, Seattle. "Adventures With Spot": March 21 through April 28 for ages 2 through 7; simple and colorful.
"Crash": April 18 through May 19 for ages 8 and up; family medical issue and bullying.
