The "I'm bo-o-o-ored" season is almost here, and the Sno-Isle Libraries are right on top of it with a whole passle of summer reading programs for all ages.
Younger kids can sign up for the Dream Big reading program at local libraries and win prizes, such as AquaSox tickets and gigantic cookies, just for signing up.
Then read lots and lots of books and keep track of your reading minutes to win more big prizes: How about having the bookmobile come right to your house?
And when you visit your library to return and pick up more books, you can take part in some great activities: Meet the Reptile Man, build elaborate paper airplanes or laugh out loud with "Noiseguy" Charlie Williams.
Teen readers can "Own the Night" and find out how to win an iPad, iPod Touch or Sno-Isle LED sunglasses.
Teen readers can submit reviews of the books online to be entered to win one of the prizes.
The libraries also are offering programs all summer on things near and dear to teens' hearts: zombies, survival skills and gaming tournaments.
