Help: Foundation needs volunteers
The Caring for Our Children Foundation in Everett is seeking volunteers to help as an office assistant, grant writer or as a phone fundraiser for about 20 hours a week. People age 55 and older are encouraged to apply.

Donate: Personal care products
The YWCA is seeking donations for people who are preparing to return to work through the Path to Work Program. The items needed are shampoos, conditioners, shaving cream, soap and other products. Items can be dropped off at the YWCA office at 3301 Broadway in Everett.
The YWCA of Seattle, King and Snohomish County also is asking for backpacks and totes for the Annual Project Homeless Connect event.

Help: Car wash and pet food drive
The Camano Animal Shelter Association is organizing two events to benefit the shelter. People can help by having their cars washed between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. June 23 at the Camano Plaza parking lot near the IGA. People also can shop at the Camano Island IGA at the same hours and day. There will be a wish list available at the store and a representative is to be at the store to answer questions.

Assist: Machinists plan car show
The Machinists Union Local Lodge 751-A is sponsoring the eighth annual Bill Baker Memorial Steel and Wheels Super Show.
The show is being scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Everett Union Hall, 8729 Airport Road.
The event is set to be a fundraiser for Guide Dogs of America, the California-based charity that provides guide dogs and instruction to blind and visually impaired people.
Entries are $20 for those who pre-register, or $25 on the day of the event. Forms are available at all District 751 union halls in Puget Sound, including the Everett Hall.
Along with the car show, there will be food and music.
Attend: Concert for Everett musician
Different music bands are organizing a concert help pay medical costs of Sean Keck and raise diabetes awareness Friday at the Jet Bar, 800 164th St. SE, Mill Creek.
Keck is a Everett-based musician who has diabetes and who has recently went through surgery on his foot and Achilles heel.

Sell: Flea market vendors needed
The Snohomish Senior Center is organizing a flea market as a fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 28, at 506 Fourth St. The center is in need of vendors for this event. The cost is $25 per table.
