STANWOOD -- A Stanwood girl who police believe was taken from her home in violation of court orders was found early Wednesday in Bellingham.

Karly A. McKay, 13, was the focus of a Snohomish County Sheriff's Office search on Tuesday night after she was reported missing from her Stanwood home.

She was found early Wednesday by Bellingham police and returned to her father, sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

The girl's mother, Trina K. Anderson, 31, was booked into jail for investigation of second-degree kidnapping.

The woman is not allowed unsupervised visits with the girl, Ireton said.
