EVERETT — Police nabbed three suspected burglars Tuesday after an early-morning break-in on Broadway.
Something tripped a burglary alarm at a business in the 6900 block just before 3 a.m., Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
Police found the door forced open and lottery tickets and cigarettes missing. They reviewed surveillance footage of the burglary suspects and their vehicle.
About 5 a.m., the vehicle was spotted in the 700 block of 75th Street SE, Snell said. A man who resembled one of the suspects was outside an apartment nearby.
The man then went inside the apartment and refused to answer the door.
Police surrounded the building and three men eventually were taken in for questioning. They were expected to be booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of burglary.
Everett police also are investigating whether the same suspects were involved in a burglary last week at a business along Madison Street.
