SPOKANE — Two masked men broke into a Spokane home Tuesday night, robbed the residents and shot their dog when it chased them.
Police say no one was injured. The dog was shot multiple times. It was taken to an animal emergency clinic.
Police say the armed intruders broke into the home about 9:30 p.m. to rob the residents who included a woman and small child.
The robbers were fleeing when the dog chased after them and was shot. The suspects fled in a white, older van.
