SacroProfano is an emerging ensemble presenting baroque music, sacred and secular, of the 17th and 18th centuries from Italy and France.

The ensemble can be heard in concert on Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood where SacroProfano will perform works by Bacilly, Couperin and Boismortier.

The ensemble put on their first concert in January, and are planning their next season in which they expect to include lectures and concerts that focus on well-known favorites as well as lesser-known musical jewels.

Three of the ensemble's musicians will perform Saturday.

On baroque oboe is Kristin Olson, a native of Edmonds who recently graduated from the Julliard School's new Historical Performance program.

Laura Bohn is a soprano who is returning from a series of performances in San Francisco, New York and Amsterdam, singing baroque works and some avant-garde pieces as well.

John Lenti is a sought-after player of the lute and the theorbo, a large, plucked string instrument, who recently won the Naxos, the classical music label's Early Music America 2012 recording competition, as part of the Wayward Sisters ensemble, according to press material.

The SacroProfano Baroque Music Concert starts at 7 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood.

Suggested donation is $15. For more information call 425-778-2159 or go to www.trinitylutheranchurch.com.
