EVERETT -- A 50-year-old Everett man was injured in a two-vehicle collision Saturday.

His car was hit by a pickup that failed to yield while making a left turn at the 10200 block of 19th Ave. SE, said officer Aaron Snell, Everett police spokesman.

The man was taken to Harbor Medical Center in Seattle.

The pickup driver is being described as a 61-year-old Everett man. Investigators believe he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident, Snell said.

The case will be referred to the prosecutor's office for consideration of possible charges, he said.
