STANWOOD -- The city's Fourth of July parade was one of many holiday events celebrated around the county. There were plenty of American flags flying and parade marchers and spectators alike dressed in red, white and blue.

Other parades, fireworks shows and fourth of July events rounded out the mostly-sunny holiday.
