Sign up for Weekend to-do list
Come together Wednesday for classic Beatles music in Mukilteo.

Members of the Gene Nastri School faculty will perform favorite tunes from the Fab Four, including "Eleanor Rigby," "Come Together," "A Hard Day's Night," "Hey Jude," "Yesterday" and "Norwegian Wood."

Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and the kids, and sit back and listen to music. The free concert will begin at noon Wednesday at Rosehill Community Center Plaza, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo.

Performers will be Josh Zimmerman, guitar and keyboard; Al Smith, guitar and bass; and Rachael Beaver, cello and vocals.

Following the performance, families can partake of an "Instrument Petting Zoo" where anyone who loves music is invited to touch and play with the instruments, under the guidance of trained musicians, to see what sounds they can produce.

Gene Nastri is a private, nonprofit school of the arts at 8616 Mukilteo Speedway, Mukilteo. For more information, call 425-789-1097, email info@genenastrischool.org or go to www.genenastrischool.org. See a short video of last year's Instrument Petting Zoo at tinyurl.com/6uxnk87.
