Bandits' Kilgore will return as head coach, not GM

The Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League announced that Darris Kilgore will return to the team as head coach, but will no longer serve as the Bandits general manager on Tuesday. The Bandits also declined to renew the contract of Derek Graham, who has served as associate general manager of the team for the past three seasons.

"Although Darris and Derek have performed their duties admirably and did many positive things for the organization, we feel a change needed to be made," said Scott Loffler, the team's director of lacrosse operations. "Simply put, the job was not getting done. The past few seasons have not lived up to our organization's expectations and, frankly, our fans deserve better."

The Bandits now turn their attention to conducting interviews with potential candidates for the GM position and hope to have a replacement hired within the next week.

The new GM will be responsible for scouting and the upcoming NLL amateur draft, and will have the final authority on player signings, trades and contracts.
