More details on Marshawn Lynch arrest

Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was weaving from lane to lane prior to his DUI arrest early Saturday morning, and showed "objective signs of intoxication" while taking multiple field sobriety tests, according to the California Highway Patrol incident report.

According to the report, Lynch was observed driving a white van by a CHP officer on Interstate 880 North in Oakland at approximately 3:20 a.m. The officer observed the van "weaving from lane-to-lane" and having "two near collisions with two other vehicles traveling within adjacent traffic lanes."

The officer pulled over the vehicle, and the driver, identified by a California driver's license as Lynch, "displayed objective signs of intoxication and performance during multiple field sobriety tests." The officer then concluded that Lynch was an impaired driver, arrested Lynch, and transported him to the Alameda County Sheriff's Department North County Jail, where he was booked without incident.

According to the Associated Press, Lynch has a preliminary court date scheduled for Aug. 14, and any decision on charges will be made prior to that date.
