After reading the Sunday Viewpoints commentary, "Triumph of human curiosity," I am reminded of a friend that is a physicist at Los Alamos. His coffee cup says, "186,000 miles per second: It's not just a good idea, it's the LAW!" I imagine his new one will reflect the magic words spoken at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN just before this momentous event, "Mr. Sulu, we have the particles in suspension. Bring them up to warp speed and let's see what happens!"
