CLINTON — The pilot of a small plane appeared to be OK after a hard landing on Whidbey Island on Thursday.
The crash happened about 4:30 p.m. near the 6000 block of Snapdragon Lane, according to the Herald’s news partners, KIRO-TV.
That’s on the far southwest side of the island, just north of Useless Bay.
Investigators believe the plane had run out of fuel, KIRO reported. No one else was believed to be on board.
