MARYSVILLE — Three suspected burglars were arrested in Marysville Friday morning, apparently fresh from the crime scene.
About 10:45 a.m., a neighbor called 911 to report a possible burglary in the 7200 block of 74th Street NE, Marysville police Lt. Jeff Goldman said.
The caller reported two men inside a house, and what appeared to be another man waiting outside near a white car.
An officer headed to the scene saw a white car speeding away from the neighborhood, Goldman said.
The officer pulled the car over, and three men inside were taken into custody.
Another neighbor also alerted police to several items one of the men reportedly had thrown from the car near 67th Avenue NE and Grove Street.
Police found gloves and a beanie-style cap believed to be used by the burglars, and items reportedly stolen from the home, Goldman said.
The stolen property was worth an estimated $500. The three men in the car were booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of residential burglary, possession of stolen property and malicious mischief.
The men, ages 22, 25 and 44, all apparently are from California.
