On further review, Jackson doesn't set Olympic record

LONDON -- Lauren Jackson already has had a memorable London Games: She carried the Australian flag in the opening ceremonies and Wednesday passed Lisa Leslie to become the second leading scorer in Olympic women's basketball history.
Initially, FIBA said Jackson, who plays for the Seattle Storm of the WNBA, had become the all-time leading scorer in Australia's 67-61 victory over Brazil. But in a statement released late Wednesday night, FIBA said Brazilian Janeth Arcain's name was entered two different ways in its record books.
FIBA says that means Jackson is second on the list with 497 points, behind Arcain's 535.
The 6-foot-5 Jackson scored 18 points in Australia's victory and passed Leslie, who has 488.
