Pedestrian killed by hit-run driver in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD -- A man walking across Highway 99 was struck by a car and killed Thursday night in Lynnwood.

Police are looking for what appeared to be a silver Lexus. It has significant front-end damage, including a broken windshield.

Witnesses say the southbound car hit the man then did a U-turn and took off northbound.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he died.
