Driver Ron Whitmarsh of Lake Stevens competes in the Mud Bog competition in his Toyota at the Prison Break 4x4 Challenge in Monroe on Saturday. The Prison Break event, named with Monroe's reformatory in mind, brought hundreds of off-road vehicles and thousands of spectators to Monroe, Friday through Sunday.
