ARLINGTON -- Two overdue rafters who were reported missing on the Stillaguamish River overnight were found safe Friday morning, officials said.

A Snohomish County search-and-rescue helicopter located the pair Friday between the Cicero Bridge and Arlington.

The woman, 22, and man, 21, both from Arlington, have no reported injuries and did not require any medical aid, sheriff's office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

They were last seen about 5:30 p.m. Thursday and were reported missing around midnight.

Snohomish County Search and Rescue, along with Arlington police and Snohomish County Fire District 21, searched the river for more than two hours Thursday night.

The search resumed around 8:30 a.m. Friday.
