EVERETT — Police in Everett on Thursday released video footage from a July armed robbery in hopes someone can identify the suspect and his lookout.
The robbery occurred just after 10:30 a.m. July 22 at the South Everett Fred Meyer, 8530 Evergreen Way.
A man walked into the pharmacy and produced a semiautomatic handgun before demanding pain medication from employees, police said.
When employees handed over one bottle of pills, the suspect demanded more and all the cash in the register, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
Employees complied and the man fled the store.
When the suspect left, a second man, acting as a lookout, walked away from the store, Snell said.
The suspect is described as a light skinned Hispanic or dark skinned white man. He’s believed to be about 30 years old with a stocky build and sagging jowls. During the robbery he wore a white hat, Champion-brand sweatshirt and white shoes.
The lookout is described as a white man who’s about 50. He wore a New Orleans Saints Reggie Bush football jersey tucked into jeans. He walked with a limp and didn’t appear able to run.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call the Everett Police Department tip line at 425-257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
