Seattle police sting catches 2 would-be pimps

SEATTLE -- Two undercover police officers posing as 17-year-old girls arrested two suspected pimps in a sting last week at Westlake Park in downtown Seattle.
One of the men told the women they should work for them and he would rent hotel rooms and tell them how to haggle with johns over the cost of various sex acts. When one woman said she was only 17, he said she would have to lie about her age.
When the other man tried to get the women into his car, an arrest team moved in. They were jailed for the possible charge of attempting the commercial sexual abuse of a minor.
