BELLINGHAM — Glacier Peak runners Amy-Eloise Neale and Katie Bianchini finished one-two in the senior race to lead the Grizzlies cross country team to the overall girls team title at the Sehome Invitational on Saturday.
Neale ran the two-mile course at Civic Stadium in 10:54.93 to set a course record. Bianchini finished at 11:31.27, which also topped the old record.
Glacier Peak finished with a team score of 21, five points better than second-place Sehome.
Arlington’s Emma Janousek won the freshman race with a time of 12:46.92.
The Kamiak boys team scored a 62 and finished second behind Sehome (48). The Knights’ Jerry Behrens ran 10:33.49 to finish second in the junior class race.
