LONGVIEW — A 16-year-old Longview youth who went into cardiac arrest last weekend at a basketball practice has returned home from a hospital.
The Daily News reported that Spencer Best was admitted to Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel in Portland, Ore., after he stopped breathing Sunday at a gym session at Mark Morris High School.
A coach and another player’s parent administered CPR until police and paramedics arrived and used a defibrillator on the boy.
