EdCC classes for wee ones start soon

Sign up for Weekend to-do list
Edmonds Community College is accepting registration for baby and toddler classes that begin the first week of October.

Baby classes are an opportunity for parents to learn how to play and bond with their infants, practicing games such as finger plays, peek-a-boo, and bubbles and bells.

In the toddler classes, parents and children do activities together, with time for parents to discuss various topics with the instructor, such as child development, family health or classroom issues.

Class time is spent in active play, quiet play, music and snacks.

Toddler classes are held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays or Tuesdays, and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

Baby classes are held from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays.

Daddy and Me toddler classes are held from from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays.

Most classes run 10 weeks and cost $135.

The college is at 20000 68th Ave. W. in Lynnwood.

For more information or to register, call 425-640-1665 or visit www.edcc.edu/pared/ and click on infant/parent.
