EVERETT -- Two men are wanted by police after they allegedly robbed a stranger for his prescription painkillers last week.

The victim had stopped at a pharmacy near his south Everett home on Sept. 13 to pick up his prescription, Snohomish County sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

On his way home, the victim noticed a passenger car following him closely, Ireton said. When he parked, the other car did, too.

The victim went inside and heard knocking at his door about 12:30 p.m.

He opened the door, and two men forced their way inside, Ireton said. They took his painkillers and cash and left.

Police are sharing sketches of the men in hopes of learning their identities.

One was described as white, 5-foot-10 and in his mid-20s. He had short, spiky brown hair and brown eyes. He wore blue gloves.

The other was described as black, 6-foot-3 and in his 30s. He had an untrimmed goatee and short braids. He wore sunglasses, red pants and black Nike sneakers.

Anyone with information should call 425-388-3845.
