OLYMPIA -- Complaints about burglaries in the area were part of the reason police and other city workers dismantled a homeless camp Thursday in Olympia.
Police said a man with ties to the camp was arrested last month and officers found cell phones in the camp that had been stolen in residential burglaries.
The Olympian reported that police also fielded a call this summer about a person passing through the camp who made a disturbing comment to a child in the Wildwood neighborhood.
