Whether you are planning to build a new home or make the one you have fit your needs, you can move closer to that dream this weekend at the Everett Fall Home Show at Comcast Arena.
The eighth-annual trade show will help you to coordinate all of your home-improvement tasks from the roof on down.
You can compare costs and innovations from more than 200 vendors, many of them local, offering products and services such as construction and plumbing to home furnishings and decorating at the three-day event, which begins Friday.
Guest speakers will hold daily seminars on preparing for emergencies, saving money on heating and remodeling, and cooking with Old World ingredients.
Free activities for children, and admission for ages 16 and younger, mean no one has to stay at home.
Take a break from the browsing with coffee and pastry samples from Blue Stilly Coffee Roasters and Oven Monkey bakery from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Friday, and from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the seminar stage in the main arena.
