Murray always given free pass

Regarding the Wednesday article, "Tanker's fate unclear": The media (news people who print or broadcast, editorialists, etc.) do not investigate and/or report the facts as journalists would have done in the past. They now report what they think people want so they will buy newspapers, listen to a particular station, etc. Political trends of an area are partly responsible for misinformation.

Wednesday's example: Patty Murray was co-chair of the "budget chop" committee that failed at their job. Most chairpersons are held accountable for failure, but not her! There was no mention of the fact that she headed up the group that failed at their task, which has resulted in sequestration that will come to fruition in 2013. This could result in the 767 tanker being cut by at least 20 percent. In fact, in this article the writer tried to make her look like a good "buddy" to Boeing. It's a very sad, faulty commentary on how bipartisanship journalism creates an incomplete picture. This article left out a very relevant fact ... a sin of omission!
