Free dental health day: Gold Creek Community Church will hold a free dental health day 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Cleanings, X-rays, fillings and other care offered. Walk for the Poor, Arlington: Arlington’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will hold a Walk for the Poor starting at 10 a.m. Saturday (registration at 9:45 a.m.). Building project dedication: Everett’s Trinity Lutheran Church will have a building project dedication at 11:15 a.m. Sunday after its 10 a.m. service. Church has a new roof and elevators for accessibility. Jan Nesse, assistant to the synod bishop, will attend. There will also be a blessing of animals at 2 p.m. Oct. 7 in Clark Park across from the church, which is at 2324 Lombard Ave., Everett.

Health &Wellness Expo: Unity Church in Lynnwood will hold a free Health &Wellness Expo noon-4:30 p.m. Sunday. Topics will include yoga, mental health, hypnotherapy, money management and more. “Maximilian, Saint of Auschwitz:” is the title of a dramatic production to be performed by Leonardo Defilippis at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Mary Magdalen Church, 8517 Seventh Ave. SE, Everett. Saint Maximilian Kolbe has been called “patron of our difficult century.” Suitable ages 10 and up. Free-will offering, suggested donation $10.

Interfaith gathering: The Interfaith Association will host its annual devotional gathering 7-8 p.m. Thursday in Spirit of Grace Methodist Church chapel, 3530 Colby Ave., Everett. Voetberg Family Band: The public is welcome at Everett’s Westminster Presbyterian Church for a concert by the Voetberg Family Band at 7 p.m. Oct. 6. The band, which has won national fiddle championships, includes eight siblings, ages 11 to 24. Music includes Celtic, American, swing, jazz, classical and sacred styles. Community prayer: A short community prayer gathering will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, Nov. 25, Dec. 30 and last Sundays of each month in the future at Legion Memorial Park gazebo, 114 N. Single Mom Car Care Clinic: Clearview Foursquare Church will have mechanics on site offering free car advice and small repairs to single mothers from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Oct. 13. Salt of the Earth Soup Kitchen: noon Tuesdays at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Free sack lunches or hot meals served to the homeless, low-income seniors and families, and kids on the street. Volunteers needed to help cook, set up, serve and clean up.
