Free dental health day: Gold Creek Community Church will hold a free dental health day 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Cleanings, X-rays, fillings and other care offered. One service per person, first-come, first served. Open to all needing treatment and lacking dental insurance. Church is at 4326 148th St. SE, Mill Creek.
Walk for the Poor, Arlington: Arlington's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will hold a Walk for the Poor starting at 10 a.m. Saturday (registration at 9:45 a.m.). Building project dedication: Everett's Trinity Lutheran Church will have a building project dedication at 11:15 a.m. Sunday after its 10 a.m. service. Church has a new roof and elevators for accessibility. Jan Nesse, assistant to the synod bishop, will attend. There will also be a blessing of animals at 2 p.m. Oct. 7 in Clark Park across from the church, which is at 2324 Lombard Ave., Everett.
Fall Craft Fair: Catholic Daughters of the Americas St. Rita Court No. 957 will host a fall craft fair from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at St. Mary Magdalen Parish Hall, 8717 Seventh Ave. SE, Everett. Information: 360-668-2545 or email cosborn3@frontier.com.
Health & Wellness Expo: Unity Church in Lynnwood will hold a free Health & Wellness Expo noon-4:30 p.m. Sunday. Topics will include yoga, mental health, hypnotherapy, money management and more. "Maximilian, Saint of Auschwitz:" is the title of a dramatic production to be performed by Leonardo Defilippis at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Mary Magdalen Church, 8517 Seventh Ave. SE, Everett. Saint Maximilian Kolbe has been called "patron of our difficult century." Suitable ages 10 and up. Free-will offering, suggested donation $10.
Interfaith gathering: The Interfaith Association will host its annual devotional gathering 7-8 p.m. Thursday in Spirit of Grace Methodist Church chapel, 3530 Colby Ave., Everett. The focus will be "Education: The Water of Hope." The event is in preparation for the CROP Hunger Walk Oct. 7. All welcome. 425-252-6672.
Voetberg Family Band: The public is welcome at Everett's Westminster Presbyterian Church for a concert by the Voetberg Family Band at 7 p.m. Oct. 6. The band, which has won national fiddle championships, includes eight siblings, ages 11 to 24. Music includes Celtic, American, swing, jazz, classical and sacred styles. Community prayer: A short community prayer gathering will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, Nov. 25, Dec. 30 and last Sundays of each month in the future at Legion Memorial Park gazebo, 114 N. Olympic Ave., downtown Arlington. Community members will pray for families, young people, and against the use of illegal drugs, alcohol and violence. Christian Women's Luncheon: Mill Creek Christian Women's Connection will hold a luncheon 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at Hilton Garden Inn, 847 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo. Cost is $22. Advance Care Planning: St. Alban's Episcopal church in Edmonds will host "Advance Care Planning" Oct. 14. The information program will cover planning for a health crisis and end-of-life care. Trinity auction dinner: "A Night on Broadway" is the theme of a dinner and auction Oct. 14 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 2301 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Single Mom Car Care Clinic: Clearview Foursquare Church will have mechanics on site offering free car advice and small repairs to single mothers from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Oct. 13. "Our Whole Lives:" is a program on relationships and sexuality developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association and United Church of Christ. Salt of the Earth Soup Kitchen: noon Tuesdays at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Free sack lunches or hot meals served to the homeless, low-income seniors and families, and kids on the street. Volunteers needed to help cook, set up, serve and clean up.
