With all of the attention Seattle rapper/producer duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have been stirring up with the recent release of their videos for "Thrift Shop" and "Same Love," the anticipation for the release of their debut album "The Heist" is high. I have been excited about this since their surprise takeover at the Sasquatch! main stage this year.

Well, as of today you can go stream the entire album over at NPR First Listen.

I just finished listening to the whole thing and cannot stress how pleased I am with this finished product. These two have struck that perfect chord between mature and the most fun you can have making music, and that's how it feels when you listen to it.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis bring their Heist tour home to the WAMU Theater next Friday, Oct. 12, and it is no surprise that it's completely sold out.

Give "The Heist" a listen. This is going to be the biggest thing out of Seattle in a long time.
