BOTHELL — Bothell recovered three Glacier Peak fumbles, rushed for 236 yards and passed for 170 more in the first half of Thursday’s nonconference game, a 41-14 win at Pop Keeney Stadium.
Danny Wilson carried the ball 17 times for 172 yards and scored three touchdowns. All but three of those yards came in the opening half, where Bothell outscored the Grizzlies 41-0. Michael Palmer carried the ball 11 times for 56 yards for Glacier Peak in the half.
Glacier Peak fumbled four times – once on a kickoff, the others on rushing plays in the first half – and all but one was recovered by Bothell.
Glacier Peak’s Chris Becerra was 14-for-21 for 193 yards and a touchdown. Bothell’s Ross Bowers was 12 of 15 for 205 yards and three touchdowns.
