Mountlake Terrace inducting new Hall of Fame members

Mountlake Terrace High School is inducting two new members into the school's Hall of Fame Friday night during halftime of the football team's homecoming game against Meadowdale at Edmonds Stadium. The game starts at 8 p.m.

Here's a look at the 2012 inductees, courtesy Terrace boys basketball coach Nalin Sood:

Brad Buslach
A three-sport athlete while at Mountlake Terrace from 1973-1976, Buslach participated in football, wrestling, and track and field. In football, Buslach was All-Wesco defensive back in 1975. In wrestling, he was a three-year state participant. Buslach's high school career culminated in state championship in the pole vault with a winning vault of 13-foot, 6 inches in 1976. With Friday’s honor, Brad becomes the third member of the Buslach family to become a member of the MTHS Athletic Hall of Fame, joining his father, Gordon, and his late brother, Kyle

Jim Johnson
A 1976 graduate of Mountlake Terrace, Johnson participated in basketball and baseball. Johnson was a two-year All-Wesco first-team selection for baseball and started for two years on the MTHS basketball teams. Johnson’s baseball and basketball teams both participated in the postseason. After graduating from MTHS, Johnson played baseball at Washington State University and then became the head baseball coach at both Edmonds and Bellevue Community Colleges
