Prep girls soccer: Edmonds-Woodway 4, Arlington 1

ARLINGTON -- The Warriors gave up an early lead but came back late in the first half with three quick goals to take the lead and win a Wesco 4A crossover game. Gabrielle Clark scored the tying goal for Edmonds-Woodway off a Savanah VanCitters' assist in the 31st minute and assisted on Kalia Machado's go-ahead goal four minutes later. Marisa Rathert scored a goal for Arlington unassisted in the eighth minute. E-W goalkeeper Kiera Towell did not allow any more goals after that.

Goals--Marisa Rathert (A), Gabrielle Clark (EW), Kalia Machado (EW), Madison Schultz (EW), Ashleigh Fonson (EW). Assists--Savanah VanCitters (EW), Clark, Emily Storino (EW), Reimi Pieters (EW). Goalkeepers--Edmonds-Woodway: Kiera Towell. Arlington: Alysia Coleman, Katelen McDonald. Records--Edmonds-Wooway 9-1-1 league, 10-1-1 overall. Arlington 4-5-1, 5-6-1.
