EVERETT -- Police on Thursday afternoon were scouring north Everett for a man who reportedly held up an espresso stand at knifepoint.

The robbery was reported just after noon in the 2800 block of Hewitt Avenue, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.

An employee at a nearby business chased the suspect but lost sight of him, Snell said. No injuries were reported.

Officers had surrounded the area and a police dog search was ongoing as of 12:30 p.m.
