The two men battling to be Washington’s next governor will face off tonight in front of what could be their largest television audience of the entire campaign.
Republican Rob McKenna and Democrat Jay Inslee will hold an hour-long debate starting at 9 p.m. to be carried live on the four major networks in the Puget Sound region and on networks across the central and eastern parts of the state.
The debate will be televised live on KIRO 7, KOMO 4, KING 5 and KCPQ 13. And it can be heard on several radio stations, including KOMO Newsradio 1000AM/97.7FM and KVI 570 Talk Radio, and streamed on www.komonews.com.
Inslee and McKenna will be questioned by a four-person panel: KIRO 7’s Angela Russell, KOMO 4’s Dan Lewis, KING 5’s Jean Enersen, and KCPQ 13’s C.R. Douglas. Washington State University’s Glenn Johnson, professor at the Edward R. Murrow College of Communications, will moderate.

Aging brain event at Lynnwood Senior Center: Research suggests the most common neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and depression become increasingly common with age.
Join the Lynnwood Senior Center’s Aging Brain Event featuring panel of experts to discuss the latest research and information about health and the aging brain. The Aging Brain event will be held from 12:30-3p.m. Nov. 9 at the Lynnwood Senior Center, 19000 44th Ave W, Lynnwood.
Panel guests include: Ruth Eggers from the Parkinson’s Association, Michael Bower from the Alzheimer’s Association and Kamilia Dunsky from Senior Services Older Adult Mental Health Access.
The event features healthy treats, memory games and complimentary memory screenings, beginning at 10 a.m.
