EVERETT -- Detectives are asking for help finding a vehicle that could be connected to the killing of a young Everett woman last month.

Julia Randolph, 24, was found slain in a restaurant parking lot in south Everett on Sept. 29. She died from blunt-force injuries to the head.

No arrests have been made in the case, Snohomish County sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said Thursday.

Detectives believe a mid-to-late 1990s four-door Nissan Altima might have been at the scene around the time of the killing, Ireton said. The car had a moon roof and black side mirrors.

Investigators want to find the car and whoever was driving it, Ireton said.

Court records showed that Randolph had a troubled life, but that there were many people who had loved her.

She spent much of her youth in Everett and attended local schools.

An obituary for Randolph ran in The Herald last week. In it, she was described as a free spirit who loved animals and the outdoors, someone who was intelligent, kind and big-hearted.

"You never got a chance to realize your dreams and live a full life, a life so full of promise," it said. "You touched everyone with your smile, and loving spirit. We love you and you will always be in our hearts."

Anyone who can help identify the vehicle or the driver, or who has any other information about the case, is asked to call detectives at 425-388-3845. Tips can be left anonymously.
