Washington AP Prep Football Poll

The latest Associated Press prep football poll is out and there's some definite jockeying going on in the polls.

Meadowdale, which was ranked third in 3A going into last week's 16-0 loss to Eastlake, remains in the top 10 at No. 8 while Oak Harbor and Glacier Peak moved up to No. 5 and 6, respectively.

In 2A Lakewood dropped to No. 3 for apparently no reason. The Cougars took care of business with a lopsided win over Cedarcrest this past Friday but apparently voters were more impressed with Lynden's 34-7 win over Burlington-Edison as the Lions catapulted over the Cougars despite the fact Lakewood is unbeaten and Lynden has a loss. Lynden's loss is to King's, which remained No. 1 in 1A.

In 2B, Darrington cracked the top 10. The Loggers are 5-1 and are ranked No. 10.
