This year’s Halloween family-fun options are delightfully diverse, from ghoulish to wonky.
For instance, check out the wicked changes at the Forest Park Petting Zoo in Everett. It’s been transformed from a friendly barnyard scene to a “Freak-a-torium,” complete with the usual suspects.
Here’s a list of special Halloween events going on right now. But never fear, there are plenty more to come next week as Halloween nears.

Haunted Nightmare Haunted House: 7 to 11 p.m. weekends through Oct. 28 at Craven Farm, 13817 Short School Road, Snohomish. General admission tickets are $10. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at www.hauntednightmare.com.
