Police detain Snohomish-area woman with gun

SNOHOMISH -- A 35-year-old Snohomish-area woman was detained by police Thursday night after reportedly running around her neighborhood with a gun.
The weapon was fired at least once, but no injuries were reported, Snohomish County sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
Someone called 911 about 6 p.m. Thursday to report a domestic violence incident in the 10000 block 38th Place SE, just north of where Highway 9 crosses U.S. 2.
The incident was unrelated to another shots fired call Thursday night east of Machias.
