MONROE -- The Monroe volleyball team continued its winning ways, beating Snohomish 3-0 to remain undefeated in league play with just two games remaining.

According to Monroe head coach April Munoz it was focus on their own game that brought her team the win tonight.

"Our kids just really stayed focused on their serve receive," Munoz said. "(We) really were able to take them out of their game by serving touch and controlling the ball while it was on our side of the net."

Asked if there was any plan for the upcoming match with second place Lake Stevens, Munoz again cited Monroe's concern with its own play first.

"We really just focus on our game and what we can control, focus on not making mistakes on our side," Munoz said. "Putting it to them and let them make the mistakes. It seems to be working for us."
