Prep girls soccer: Meadowdale 2, Shorecrest 1

SHORELINE -- First half goals from Erica Beaulieu and Emily Critchlow powered Meadowdale to a Wesco 3A South win over Shorecrest and helped keep the Mavericks' perfect record intact.
Beaulieu opened the scoring in the 15th minute off an assist from Critchlow. Critchlow, the Mavericks' leading goal-scorer this season, added another goal in the 27th from a Sara Fjortoft pass.
Shorecrest finally solved the Meadowdale defense in the 69th minute when Alexa Iacolucci set up Sophia Viviano to bring the Scots to within one goal, but goalkeeper Ashley Routhe and the Mavericks defense allowed no more as Meadowdale ran its record to 15-0 on the season.
At Shoreline Stadium
Goals--Erica Beaulieu (M), Emily Critchlow (M), Sophia Viviano (S). Assists--Critchlow, Sara Fjortoft (M), Alexa Iacolucci (S). Goalkeepers--Meadowdale: Ashley Routhe. Shorecrest: Frida Swensen. Records--Meadowdale 12-0 league, 15-0 overall. Shorecrest 7-2-3, 9-3-3.
