Front Porch: De-clutter class in Mountlake Terrace

About that clutter ...
Get rid of stress in your life by de-cluttering your home.
Professional organizer Monika Kristofferson plans to help you create goals for your space, tackle excess belongings, choose storage solutions and more. The free class is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Mountlake Terrace Library, 23300 58th Ave W., Mountlake Terrace.

Pink the Rink: Five hundred free tickets are available for the Everett Silvertips' Pink the Rink Night, a benefit to provide free mammograms for low-income women in Snohomish County. The event begins at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave. The tickets are available to anyone who has been affected by breast cancer and may be reserved at the website: www.everettsilvertips.com/breastcancer. The event is part of the game between the Silvertips and the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Preview new textbooks: Next fall, students in advanced math courses at each of the high schools in the Everett School District will be using new textbooks.
Parents, staff, students and community members are invited to browse the materials being considered and to share their comments at one of the three math adoption open house events: Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Everett High School Library, 2416 Colby Ave.; Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jackson High School, 1508 136th St. SE, Mill Creek; and Nov. 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Penny Creek Elementary School math portable, 4117 132nd St. SE, Everett.
