You may save a few bucks on your auto insurance by signing up for one of the two-day safety courses offered by AARP. Cars have changed and roads have changed since you first got your license and had a road test. Maybe it’s time for a refresher.
The courses are geared for those over age 50, but any drivers may attend.
The Washington Oakes Retirement Community is holding a two-day AARP Driver Safety Course from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 6.
The cost is $15.95 for AARP members and $19.95 for nonmembers.
Veterans and their spouses can take the workshop for free.
Course fees may be paid to the instructor Nov. 5.
Washington Oakes is at 1717 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.
