DES MOINES — A Des Moines man was wounded in a struggle with two home-invasion robbers.
KIRO-TV reported that the robbers forced their way into the home about 11 p.m. Monday and demanded money.
The victim was pistol-whipped and shot. Police said he was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and is expected to survive. A woman in the house at the time was not hurt.
Police are looking for the two robbers who fled.
