Presidential race

Romney has plan to grow economy

Our country is traveling down a road that will lead to our demise if we do not turn around soon. President Obama made many promises in 2008. One is that he would cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term or he would be a one-term president. The deficits/debt has risen at rates higher than any time in history. The economy has remained stagnant with high unemployment and more government dependency than ever before. Our country cannot sustain this level of spending without facing a fiscal crisis. He offered "hope and change" and transparency in government. This all sounded great but he has failed to deliver.
Gov. Romney does have a plan to grow our economy, encouraging free market growth by lowering taxes, encouraging investment, consumer spending and hiring. He's had a successful 25-year career in business which Obama and the mainstream media think is evil. He also had bipartisan success as governor of Massachusetts. President Obama has never held a private sector job.
I believe many are one issue voters, basing their decision on such issues as abortion, gay rights, the environment, health care or government entitlements. We are always going to have these issues to debate. Most of these should probably be decided at the state level. These issues will seem insignificant when our country is in the midst of another great depression. Most economists believe that if we continue the same level of borrowing and spending, we will eventually fall off the "fiscal cliff."
I strongly urge voters to do more research beyond the mainstream media and consider the implications of their vote on our children's future. Let's put a person in the White House who will execute a plan based on successful experience and get America back on the road to greatness. Please vote for Mitt Romney for president and Rob McKenna for governor!
